Girls For Technology Inc. is a grass-roots initiative formed to ....Join us in our movement by closing the gender gap that exisit today in the tech industry. We here at Girls For Technology Inc. want to assure that middle and high school-aged girls are given the same opportunites as their counterparts. Introducing girls to STEM fields, and sparking an interest will spur a girl to pursue a degree and later a career in Computer Science or Engineering. Providing hands-on activites will allow girls to discover and practice STEM concepts, with a special interest in Technology and Engineering.We are here to raise awareness, spark interest, build confidence and self esteem, and generate interest so that girls will persue STEM studies and careers.

Girls For Technology Inc., is an after-school and summer enrichment program for under-served under-represented adolescent girls ages 11-17 in Greater Hartford, CT school district, and neighboring towns. Its main focus is to peak girls’ interest, and help close the gender gap that exist in computer science and engineering fields.The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
