Who We Are

 

Girls For Technology Inc (is an after-school program commited to closing the gender gap one girl at a time). ( We provide girls between the ages of 11-17 the opportunity to hands-on (Summer Leadership Camp will be offered 6-weeks during the summer. At GFT, members will have access to mentoring, tutoring and homework help, hands-on project based STEM activities, team building, field trips, soft skills training, curriculum based leadership training.

 

By GFT providing these specialized services that fuse academic instruction with personal developmental tools empower girls with the skills to be ………Trailblazers!

 

Our Purpose:
 

• Help girls’ make positive life choices

• Train girls’ to make and maintain quality relationships

• Train girls’ to not only be innovators within STEM fields but also leaders within their respective career path

• Focus on increasing girls’ awareness and participation with STEM fields which will help close the gender gap.

• A safe place to go for girls’ to reduce the likelihood of teen pregnancy, which is one example of endangering one’s ability to obtain an education.
